Chow`s Chinese Restaurant in Collingswood

Chows must have different owners the food is not as good as it used to be!!!! They also don’t give you as much as they used to. You have to ask for chop sticks and the crunchy noodles, you would think they would just give them to you when you’re seated. We ordered egg rolls for the appetizer and had to ask for the spicy mustard... shame we used to love this place will never go back !

Love Chows, our family has been eating here for years. Always a great meal with friendly service. The sushi is fresh -never dissatisfied with any choice - I could safely say we have tried almost every item on their menu! Take out or eat in - we love this place.

The food is good. But the service is terrible. In the past it been fine. However, the new service has been for right rude. So that I don't want give them money regardless of how good the food is. I'm not to be "that person." I'll just state how truly feel. I get racially profiled. It's been bugging to no end. Get it together Chows.

I was craving a California roll so bad as I am pregnant right now. My husband and I give Chows our business almost every weekend. We ordered over $50 worth of food, the California roll was missing, we called asking if we could come pick it up and they argued with us over a $4 sushi roll, too bad they put it in the bag-They will not be making one for us to pick up. Will not be ordering from here again.

Horrible customer service. The young lady at the register threw my debit card on the counter, then just sloppily handed me the pen and receipt to sign. She was not friendly whatsoever! Then she gave me the wrong soda and caught an attitude like I did something wrong. This was my go-to place even though they are expensive and don't deliver. But after last night, they don't have to worry about me again.

If I could give this place no stars I would, this place is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted. My partner and I were so disgusted with everything. We order General tso chicken, crab cheese Wonton, pork fried rice and a egg role. Everything tasted spoiled and rotten. We contact grub hub which turned into this whole deal. The women at the front gave us the store owner number he was very rude and disrespectful we tried to speak with him, once he had enough he hung up the phone. Long story short, if you want to get food poising this is the place to go. Enjoy.

First off I called and the man on the phone just didn’t listen I said I wanted Onions and he kept saying no onions. In then hang up someone else answers much more helpful then the man before. Food wise horrible and all I got was Chicken and shrimp fried rice. I wouldn’t recommend this Chinese store to ANYONE. If u want real Chinese food don’t go there

Rencently I had tons of bad experiences from this places, and I will be taking my order elsewhere insteads of here. If a zero star or negative rating was possible, I would definitely give them express a negative five because of the young men’ s slow and not professional services.

Decent sushi, seaweed salad is ok. Consistent.

I told my friends about this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are tasty and the crew is very friendly and cooperative. always when we visit this place we pass a cheerful time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Very good sushi. For $25 i got a plate of 36 pieces of sushi. Thats amazing. A normal combo at another place is usually $25 for 12 pieces. Im definatly coming back here. The guy at the front counter was super friendly and the menu has color pictures of all thier platters. So go on i and have a good meal.

I get to eat here a lot since I work close by. I must say the customer service is always good and they keep the place well organized constantly. Rates are fair and they serve large portions.

My favorite Chinese restaurant. Love them! Moo shu pancakes and sushi burritos. Yum.

What a good restaurant!The take out food is always tasty. The veggies are always fresh and the meat is always tender, the staff are polite and efficient, the young host is a tremendous help with recommending different kinds of food. The food delivery is promptly served by Grub hub. But I have been eat here for several times during the lunch time, what I surprised, they have no waiter waiting for the table. It’s all up to the counter girl to answer phones and work the take out orders. When I ready to order while the waitress was keeping busy with answering few phones at onces. When they get busier, they really need more helper to running the business. And I also found the LoMei and the Chicken with broccoli was literally swimming in the sauce and oil. I really taste the food so salty and greasy!

Used to love this place. Was a customer for 13 years faithfully. Customer service is lacking. DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUBHUB. Order arrived missing an order of California rolls and they refused to do anything about it. Will not be giving any further business, not the first time something like this has happened.

This place is always rude with service. No one ever smiles and god for bid if you ask for extra hot sauce they start snaring at you. The quality of the food at best is mediocre. I have had way better Chinese food which was a lot cheaper. Would not recommend.

Very elegant and accessible place. They provide big meals and for reasonable rates. We liked the food very much and the staff members were super amiable and informative. Recommended.

Amazing. Been coming here for 20 years! Its always fresh hot and ready fast! If you need forks napkins anything just ask! They give plenty of soy/duck sauce! Must try the amazing chicken! The sweet & sour chicken is crispy and sauce is on the side! Rice is always perfect. Maybe 2 or 3 times have they ever forgotten anything in our take out order but if you go back they will hand it right over with no problems!! If you eat in you get delish hot tea and crispy noodles. Been coming my whole life never had a issue.

Really good, fast Chinese and Japanese food

I like their cheap sushi platters. I do not like that they mixed up my order and tried giving me salmon roll instead of salmon roe (salmon eggs). I ordered online and it was printed out in front of them. I still had to tell them it was wrong. And when I returned home to eat it, it was hard and I hope I do not get sick from it since they're supposed to be squishy. I do not buy miso soup from them ever because I feel like its tasteless or burnt everytime. Plus, they're online prices are different (quoted me less online when I ordered) and they will not change the price online or give me the THEIR online price.

I have been ordering good Chinese food here since I moved into Collingswood 20 years ago. I've moved a couple of times into neighboring neighborhoods and travel to still eat here. Never been disappointed.

Worth I! Every time we get take out, order is perfect, good food for the price, too.

I have had food from here, take out as well as dining in. The woman who takes my order has always given fast, good service. The food never takes more than ten minutes and is always fresh hot and delicious. The sushi is fresh and yummy. I love there dry noodles, string beans with shrimp and garlic sauce. I drive twenty minutes to go eat there, as well as to get take out.

The food was wonderful but the girl at the counter was kinda rude. I also asked if I could eat my food there she told just told me no take out only and gave me a dirty look like I was supposed to know only special people can eat inside .I'll probably go back despite her attitude today maybe she just had cramps 😫

Great food large selection

It won’t be my first choice of Chinese food. I totally question what kind of meat in my dumplings, it tastes nasty. The food was horrible and the restaurant seems clean but the food was dirty. I am sure I never give my business to this restaurant again!

Amazing food, especially the amazing chicken and pork pad thai

Chow's is in the downtown area of Collingswood. It's a "Main Street" type of situation, so looking for street parking could be a problem. However, I found a small public parking lot, with free parking for about an hour, just a block away.Chow's is a hybrid Chinese place. Half of it is a Chinese takeout and half of it is a sit-down dining area. This evening, we opted for dining in. I thought service was okay, even if a bit laconic. Their General Tso's Chicken, from the chef's specials part of the menu, was really good though. One downside of dining in is their dine-in menu is missing the combination platters. I would have preferred to get the food with fried rice and egg roll but that simply wasn't offered as an option.

Egg rolls still good, fried rice fine. Dishonest people sell you something that's not cooked or what was ordered.

It was so good!!! The lady is always nice and I get quality sushi and food and service all the time 😊 I love eating there!

Great Food!!

Not much to look at but classic American Chinese fare. Indoor seating area was cozy with good service. Food was cooked to order and piping hot .Generals Tso chicken and Shrimp with lobster sauce were very good. They do a big take out.i will go again Very inexpensive for quality.

Terrible service told me they diddnt sell pizza chicken like what Chinese restaraunt doesn’t sell pizza chicken??!threw my card on the counter so I called my daddy and he’s a lawyer so I won that battle lol lmao

I am a regular customer for over 10 years. Good Chinese food, fair prices and great services. Even though the Lo Mein always has too much sauce and little bit salty, that’s the reason I did not give them 5 stars. Well, I really like their BBQ Spareribs and the young lady customer services. No matter how busy they are, the food always be ready in 10 mins. I am really satisfied with their hard work and the friendly, efficient young lady’s services no matter take out or eat there.

The General Tso's combination dish was very good.
